Where Can I Obtain Cancer Tissue for Research Purposes?

Where Can I Obtain Cancer Tissue for Research Purposes? My lab is interested in starting research on cancer (specifically colon and melanoma) and we're trying to find a source from which we can obtain cancer tissue to analyze and research. Does anyone know of any outlets from which we can obtain cancer tissue for medical research purposes?

Most teaching and research hospitals and cancer research institutes maintain tissue banks of various cancers. I suggest you start there - it's not the sort of thing you can buy in Walmart!

Start smoking 3 to 5 packs of cigarettes a day and start jogging in the morning. You will have cancer in 6 months and if you diagnose it early enough they will remove it. And don't forget. Drinking gasoline causes cancer too
