There are different types of eye cancer . . so I'm not certain which one you are asking about. In general eye cancer occurs in infants and children under the age of five. It is called Retinoblastoma. The disease is considered 'curable' when caught early. Survivors often have moderate to severe visual loss.

There is no such thing as eye cancer, but cancer can occur in the eye. The scientific name depends on what cancer you are referring to, melanoma, lymphoma, retinoblastoma, etc.
