The International Staging System can help to predict survival, with a median survival of 62 months for stage 1 disease, 45 months for stage 2 disease, and 29 months for stage 3 disease

I believe it also depends on treatment responses. I belong to a MM webgroup where people have lived from 5-10 years at all different stages. This disease is individual and response to treatment varies.
I don't think the information posted on websites is accurate due to all the new therapies.
There is hope!
