when i was sick with staff infection and had surgery i had an iron deficiency and they made vitamins or sum kind of pills until i had enough iron again but i think ur situation is different so i dont know exactly. I know that u will develop normally and that iron is jus in your blood so it shouldnt affect how u develop!

I have been anemic myself. I took iron pills/ In some extreem cases there are blood transfusions.
Symptoms are weakness, being pale in your inner eyelides.
fingernail beds, being very tired and sometimes faintness and dizziness.

You will develop normally. Take your pills as your doctor oders. Eat healthy. Get plenty of sleep. Eat foods that are high in iron.....which are dark green vegtables and red meat.

Hopefully your condition is temporary and you will be back to normal real soon.

iron is important for red blood cells to make haemoglobin & carry oxygen, paleness , faintness , fatigue & general thinner than usual rundown appearance are symptoms . a great old fashioned cure is one or two 'portagaffs' per day - a drink made of 50/50 lemonade & stout beer ( dark beer that looks like thick coke on account of it being made from roasted hops)

lack of iron in the body w'd cause u less blood,u w'd feel sick easily especially headache.eat more nutritious food mainly on iron like green veggies n sea food,do proper exercise like yoga n swimming.u can buy some ready products like thomson(gingko) n amways as a substitute.take care.

iron deficiency is something serious because your red blood cells need iron so they can take oxygen from the lungs and circulate it throughout your body; when oxygen combines with iron, it forms rust (this gives the bright red coloration to our blood);
deficiency in iron causes a condition called anemia; anemia can be a serious medical condition or a temporary one (females, mostly teens go through temporary IDA - iron-deficiency anemia - during menstruation); IDA should not be cause for worry unless it is unusually heavy and regular;
if it is just a matter of replenishing lost iron due to menstruation, just increase your dietary iron intake NATURALLY by consuming plants rich in iron - like bitter melon (or bitter gourd), like spinach, and almost all green (very green) leafy vegetables;
but if the cause is something else (inability of the bone marrow to produce enough red blood cells or the RBCs produced are deformed - a medical condition common among some African people called sickle-cell anemia), I advise you seek competent and professional medical help; it is out of my league;
