Are these symptoms of melanoma or am I paranoid?Okay, I'm under sixteen, I'm twelve (Don't give me that "too young" thing, I understand the consequences and I'm probably more mature than some people on here). So I know my chances aren't very high, but not impossible so I'm asking. I have always had a mole a few cm below one of my breast. Lately, it looks as if it could just come off, and theirs a pink ring around it, and the mole is changing to a pinkish pale skin tone a little bit on one side of my mole. It looks like a mix of my skin and pink, but it's on the side of the mole.
Honestly, my mom isn't going to book a appointment to our family doctor because my mole is changing. Knowing her.
But even though my chances are not high, I'm a bit worried. It's been like this for months now, but I haven't really brought much care to it until I watched the Youtube video "Dear 16 year old me" that's about melanoma.
What are your thoughts? Don't be rude, and be mature. Thanks

Any time a mole changes color, shape or size, it should be looked at by a dermatologist.
