What forms of cancer would cause numbness?Numbness in face or other parts of the body? Thanks
Answer by Spreedog
It would depend more on location that type of malignancy.
Any of the 200 plus types of cancer could cause numbness if a tumor mass impinged upon a nerve. If you have no known cancer diagnosis, I would consider the many other possibilities for areas of numbness before thinking it is a malignancy.

Cancer is uncontrolled cell division that can easily spread if not attended to. If the cancerous tumour or a non cancerous tumour (cyst) is pressing or applying pressure to particular nerves this could inhibit their functioning and thus, cause numbness. The numbness is from the area of nerves that are non functioning normally.
