Is There a National Blood Donation Organization?

Is There a National Blood Donation Organization?Hello, I was looking to see if there is a nation organization that organizes the donation of blood. But, I don't want the organization that donates just blood, I'm looking for the one that organizes the donation of platelets, plasma, red cells, granulocytes, etc.

For example, to donate bone marrow there's the national center which is marrow.org. I was just wondering if there's a big national website like that for blood that then branches out into local blood banks or something?

Thank you, any suggestions you may have about organizations would be greatly appreciated.

The Red Cross in the US does all kinds of blood product donation, with the exception of marrow. Most of their donations are whole blood, but the blood is filtered out into the different blood products after donation.

What do you think? Answer below! Information about multiple myeloma and other plasma cell neoplasms.
