help with ap biology hw q's?

help with ap biology hw q's?1. There are a number of differences between fission of a bacterium and human cell divison. Which of the following is NOT one of them?

a) A bacterium has only one chromosome (it's true)
b) duplicated bacterial chromoosomes attach to the plasma membrane (true)
c) bacteria are smaller and simpler than human cells *true)
d) Bacteria have to duplicate their DNA before diving; human cells do not (it's not true?)
e) human chromosomes are larger and more complex (it's true)

so i guess it's answer D? because bacteria duplicate their DNA during S phase (synthesis) or during interphase

2. You would be unlikely to see which of the following human cells diving?
a) muscle cell
b)skin cell
c)cancer cell
d)cell from an embryo
e)intestinal lining cell

skin cell?

Answer by DemonOfSarila
1 is totally D because human cells DO duplicate their DNA

2, might be skin. it actually depend on just what they mean. you skin cells are produced by the lower layers of skin maybe a google search about it could help.... but C and D are out, the major role of those two is to divide.
