Could you tell me the symptoms of lymph node cancer???????????Like any type? What if you have lymph nodes 4x their size in the neck but NOT tender, really drowsy, dizziness, slight drop in weight? what are other symtpoms??? (any lymph node cancer)

lymphoma. More people are affected by this lymph node cancer than by Hodgkin's disease. The most common symptoms of this lymph node cancer include: night sweats, unexplained fever, constant fatigue, and unexplained weight loss.

Have your thyroid checked as a first step. Make sure you see an endocrinologist, not just a GP. If it was lymphoma, you would have other symptoms such as night sweats, coughing and chest pain and abdominal fullness.

The size of your lymph nodes alone means you need to be examined ASAP.

I'm no doctor but stop thinking so negative. You could have mononucleosis, the symptoms fit. Or the mumps. see your dr.

Lymph nodes swell up from all sorts of causes, most of which aren't cancerous. Lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes) comes in many forms and can have a broad variety of symptoms. Don't try to get a diagnosis over the internet; see a doctor and get checked out.

I am a Hodgkin's lymphoma patient. Definitely go to the doctor and ask them to check you over. Not every lymphoma patient experiences symptoms, but some of the most common are:

Painless swollen node(s)
Fatigue
Fevers
Night Sweats
Weight Loss
Itchy Skin
Loss of appetite

You should most definitely get your self checked out, you do have potential symptoms of both Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Though, most swollen lymph nodes are caused by infection and other less serious complications.

Your doctor will likely want to first check your blood, to see if they believe you have an infection and possibly try some antibiotics. They might want to do an X-ray to see if there are swollen nodes in your chest too. If the antibiotics don't start to clear up your symptoms or they get worse, you may have to have your lymph node biospsied. It's the easiest way to see if an inflamed node is malignant or benign.

Please don't put this off. I was only 24 when I was diagnosed with lymphoma. Most lymphomas, if caught early, have very good survival rates (over 80%) I hope that you are simply experiencing some sort of infection...good luck to you.
