70 yrs old - Multiple myeloma with diabetes and triple bypass pt.?4 yrs past stem cells transplnt. B.J. protien over 3000. They want to do a kidney biopsy next. What am I to expect over the next few months? There is talk of another stem cell transplt. I hurt all over and am not looking forward to going thru another transplt.
I am a pt at M.D.Anderson. This is not a question my wife is ready to ask or hear the answer.
They say my heart is doing great.
T-9 was crushed when they FINALLY found the cancer. Almost 5 yrs ago. You said you'd answer - ? what do you think?

I'll answer your question, but an oncologist would be better suited towards an accurate answer. It's very difficult to speculate with your multi-organ dysfunction, but it sounds like you are receiving a high standard of care. I wish you the best of luck. I can definitely tell you that advanced treatments are around the corner, but I suppose an adjustment of pain medication might be in order.
