Inflammatory Breast Cancer Symptoms & Clinical Trials

Learn more at www.mdanderson.org Inflammatory Breast Cancer is a rare type of breast cancer. Unlike more common breast cancer types, Inflammatory Breast Cancer appears as a rash or infection instead of a lump in the breast. MD Anderson is home to a clinic for women with inflammatory breast cancer (IBC), believed to be the first such clinic in the world. The Inflammatory Breast Cancer Clinic accepts patients who are newly diagnosed or previously treated, and offers the most innovative treatments currently available. MD Anderson Cancer Center is currently conducting clinical trials and research in hopes of finding new treatment options for this rapid growing, and difficult to treat disease.
