i dont know the answer to that particular question, but i know that anxiety can cause shortness of breath.

Due to the breasts close proximity to the lungs, the cancer is very easily spread there. Perhaps you should see your oncologist for a lung evaluation.

For Cancer Patients anything thing can happen and short of breath is also a symptom of Breast cancer. But it will not kill the patient and only it is a symptom. Needed treatments are to be given on evaluation of the disease.
Shortness of breath. This symptom may be caused by cancer that has spread to the lungs or from pleural effusion, a build-up of fluid and cancer cells in the area around the lungs.-
